This is an aluminium emergency insert kit that allows specific Quick 1000W anchor windlasses to be operated by hand in the event of motor or power failure. In a power loss situation, the insert enables manual cranking of the gypsy to haul the anchor. The windlass handle on the inner star can also be used to loosen the clutch brake and allow the chain to free-fall for emergency deployment. Genuine Quick Italian manufacture.
